PNG File Transparency Fail

Hello there.

I saved an image as a pgn file that was a trancparent image.

I found it in my files and clicked on it but saw that the trancparentcy was black

Please help

There could be several reasons for this:

 

1. When you saved as PNG you selected something less than 32-bit (or auto detect)
2. Some programs display transparency differently... some use the checkerboard pattern, some use white, some use black.
3. Perhaps you thought you were saving as PNG but you really saved as JPG instead?
