I look into the registry and can't find anything relating this question in pant.net branch. Edited July 10, 2017 by hooddy Quote
Ego Eram Reputo Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 That's because there is no registry key. Paint.net defaults to exactly two image formats: PDN (for multi-layered images) and PNG (for single-layered images). Each of these is lossless. Paint.net does this so that, by default, no image data is lost during a 'routine' save. The paint.net developer has designed the program to work this way so that users are protected by default, and no data will be lost. If you choose to specify a different image format a dialog asks for confirmation - this is your warning that data will (likely) be lost. Ego Eram Reputo Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 Multi-layered TIFF's are not supported Here are Rick's (paint.net developer) thoughts on the TIFF format 1 Quote ebook: Mastering Paint.NET | resources: Plugin Index | Stereogram Tut | proud supporter of Codelab plugins: EER's Plugin Pack | Planetoid | StickMan | WhichSymbol+ | Dr Scott's Markup Renderer | CSV Filetype | dwarf horde plugins: Plugin Browser | ShapeMaker
hooddy Posted July 13, 2017 Author Posted July 13, 2017 (edited) I can bet but I don't wanna. Tiff is an adopted standard. Png doesn't contain meta I need. Pdn isn't supported by soft I use afta Pant.net. Ok I can do it to spend a lil moar time. Edited July 13, 2017 by hooddy Quote
Ego Eram Reputo Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 TIFF is ancient. There are better options. That's why support is dwindling.
