Gusop
Hello people, I am working on a project and it would be nice to have a 3D looking solar system. And I want to have something similar like int the game SW: Empire At War http://imgur.com/a/LuQf6 Do you have a idea how I could do something similar ? On the picture we have a galaxy in the background and also the lines help to create this 3D/deep effect. We have great planet tutorials here. I start with a dark image of cosmos with few dozen stars and it is already looks like 2D, a wall of stars... Maybe the is a perspective formula how to put the stars to create deepness. Sorry my English is not so good. Maybe you guys have some ideas? Best wishes, Gusop Edited March 6, 2017 by Gusop
Ego Eram Reputo
Here's a couple of tutorials to get you started: and I prefer the second one, though it is worth combining the two to give a little extra depth to the image. IRON67
Related plugins are in my eyes: Planetoid and Shape3D.
