DICOM FileType plugin

Hello,
is this PlugIn still working? Added this PlugIn to Paint.net - and I'm now able to choose .dcm files inside Paint.net, but they won't open and throw an "eof" error message:

Quote

Application version: paint.net v4.1.3

System.IO.EndOfStreamException: Über das Ende des Datenstroms hinaus kann nicht gelesen werden.
   bei System.IO.__Error.EndOfFile()
   bei System.IO.BinaryReader.FillBuffer(Int32 numBytes)
   bei System.IO.BinaryReader.ReadUInt16()
   bei DicomFileType.DicomLib.get_ImageData()
   bei DicomFileType.DicomFileType.OnLoad(Stream input)
   bei PaintDotNet.FileType.Load(Stream input) in D:\src\pdn\src\Data\FileType.cs:Zeile 496.
   bei PaintDotNet.Functional.Func.Eval[T1,TRet](Func`2 f, T1 arg1) in D:\src\pdn\src\Base\Functional\Func.cs:Zeile 158.

The german part means: "It cannot be read over the end of the data stream input".
I know that the image is not broken, since online tools can convert it (but make a bad quality).
Here is an example file (it was over 0.25MB). PW is dicom . Could someone help?

Thanks - and sawrry for this "ingrish" ;)

Howdy,

You are correct, this plugin can not open your file.

However, I was able to open your file with IrfanView.

So, open the file with IrfanView, and from IrfanView save it as a PNG file.  Then open the PNG file with paint.net.

(September 25th, 2023)  Sorry about any broken images in my posts. I am aware of the issue.

Sorry to resurrect this old thread, but the OP's download link is broken as of at least today.

Is somebody able to re-post a working link or upload the plugin to this thread?

I'll see if I have a copy archived. Check back in about six hours.

Found it. I've added a new link/download button to the first post.
