tome10
I'm new.. I managed to color this icon Red, but how do I create the lighting/shading affects? And, my icon seems to be awful jaggy, ideas on what I did wrong?
toe_head2001
You'd probably just want to change the Hue. tome10
That's Perfect! Thanks! I apparently need to look into this 'Hue' Sorcery.
Ego Eram Reputo
It's a dark art. tome10
If I need to make the background transparent, what's the 'proper' way? I've been magic wanding the background, and deleting selection. Is there a better way? I know I can highlight the object and copy-paste onto an opaque background. Any tricks to retain fidelity of the image. Edited January 24, 2017 by tome10
Ego Eram Reputo
For plain white or black backgrounds I tend to use AlphaSpace because it respects shadows and is very easy to use. AlphaSpace MaR-V-iN Converts a white/black background into transparency. Recognizes shadows and makes them semi-transparent.
