DrewDale
Looks like being another traditional family occasion for Christmas Day, spending it with my children and missus, Christmas Eve is time to have a few with friends. And Boxing Day (In the UK) will be spent visiting other family members. Nice to have Christmas, better to see it go (Bah Humbug indeed ) Edited December 10, 2016 by DrewDale
LionsDragon
Traditionally, we go to visit our families in Wisconsin for the holiday. My day job has been pretty stingy with the schedule lately, though, so I will be lucky to be able to go at all.

Pixey
It will be a quiet Christmas and New Year staying home and cooking a roast on Christmas Day. I used to stay up on New Year's Eve to watch TV, for the ball coming down in NY city but, alas, these days we've usually gone to bed by midnight . Trying to get used to our first 'faux' Christmas tree. Live ones are forbidden in our building ........ Health and Safety no doubt! Hope you all have a Wonderful Holiday Season - stay safe and enjoy yourselves. 2 Quote How I made Jennifer & Halle in Paint.net My Gallery | My Deviant Art "Rescuing one animal may not change the world, but for that animal their world is changed forever!" anon. Collagemaster
we have an artificial tree as well pixey. its about that size, and its LED. its amazing that after many years went by, from when I was 5-10 years old, we had a real tree that by todays standards would cost over 70 dollars..and when I was around 14-18 we had an aluminum tree to save on cost..and now, a tiny LED tree.
LionsDragon
@Pixey, that tree is so pretty! Funny, growing up we always had an artificial tree because my mom was allergic to pine sap. A few years back, I was nanny for my cousin's son after she had a stroke; they had a real tree. It actually struck me as really WEIRD! I wasn't too impressed with the dogs drinking out of the planter, either. My husband and I have an artificial tree, and given the way our cat climbs and chews I have to say it's probably for the best. Turns out putting pinecones under the tree doesn't work if the little furball can figure out how to jump over them!

LionsDragon
Herself makes a cameo in the holiday scene I created (along with my bird), but I'm working on a project that centers around her right now.
