Recommended Posts

No matter how big!! your problem is, you should follow the forum rules:

6) Thread titles must be descriptive and specific -- NOT generic. You need to use descriptive thread titles. The following are examples of thread titles that are NOT ALLOWED:

"Help"

"Please help"

"I need help"

"Can you help"

"HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!" (if you post like this you WILL be banned)

"Tutorial request"

"Feature request"

"Plugin request"

"Looking for..."

"Looking for a tutorial / feature / plugin"

"Can Paint.NET do this" ('this' is complete ambiguous here)

"I'm a newbie"

"Hello"

"I'm new"

If someone can't suggest what you need to do to solve your problem, you might post the log file mentioned in the error message.

If you're using Windows 10 Anniversary Update (version 1607) or newer, you already have .NET Framework v4.6.2 installed.

Otherwise, you could try clicking on that blue "log file" from your screenshot.

Hmm, I clicked on the 'log file' and it directed me to a installation log. It said Message Types and I clicked on 'errors' and it showed all the errors. I screenshotted the errors.

Maybe that's what causing the problem? Maybe I can send the full log somehow..

Windows 8.1 is fine.

Reboot your computer, and then try to install .NET v4.6.2 using the offline installer. Download it here:
