Pixey Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 You can add another new layer and add the characters. The more layers the better, so you can move things around independently. After which you then Flatten. enidan80 Posted November 14, 2016 Author Posted November 14, 2016 Pixey, My problem is this I create a white background say 8" wide by 6" tall I then go to import from file, the import is 6" tall and 5" it is at this point that the background changes to the 6"x5 I hope I have explained this so as you understand my problem. If you import an image smaller than the canvas you begin with, it should NOT change the size down to smaller. Here is a diagram that I hope explains what I think you are asking.
