Delebot
I run a 2-monitor layout, and with the newest update (4.0.12), every time I maximize paint.net on the non-primary monitor, the status bar and half of the toolbars don't show. Here's what it looks like: and I was wondering if anyone else with multi-display setups also had a similar problem with this version. BoltBait
What are the resolutions of your two monitors? Also, can you click the gear icon, diagnostics tab, copy to clipboard button... then come here and paste the info. Thanks. That may help. BoltBait
Are you running any kind of Windows Management software, like Mirillis Action or Window Blinds? Delebot
No, and it hasn't been like this until the most recent pdn update.
BoltBait
Thanks for the additional info. I'm afraid you'll just have to wait for a response from Rick on this one. Rick Brewster
No idea. Nothing should've changed with respect to this. I haven't had any other reports of stuff like this. Can you interact with the menus? How well does that work? Also, I no longer do any testing on Windows 8 or 8.1. Delebot
The part that's "cut out" doesn't even count as the paint.net window, if I right click on that part, it shows the desktop's context menu (if nothing else is behind the paint.net window)
toe_head2001
Can you see if any this behavior changes when you're in Windows Safe Mode? We need to rule out any 3rd-party software that could be interfering. Can you confirm that the issue goes away if you switch back to paint.net v4.0.10 or v4.0.11? (Switching back is not the solution; this is just for troubleshooting purposes) Quote (September 25th, 2023) Sorry about any broken images in my posts. I am aware of the issue. Ego Eram Reputo
Are you using any software to manage the multi-monitor setup? Like ATI HydraVision?
