PSS
How do I draw a smooth line without serrated edges using Paint,Windows 7.Pressing th Shift Key Gives me only 90 degrees and 45 degree smooth lines.
Pixey
Hi @PSS and Welcome to the forum. I assume your question is for paint.net . To draw a straight line other than 90 or 45 degrees just use the line/curve tool anywhere on your canvas without using the Shift. MJW
Make sure antialiasing is enabled. It's controlled by the item in the tool bar (or whatever it's called), on the right side, just to the left of Finish. It will show a circle if enabled, a square if not. BoltBait
I think when someone complains about "smooth lines" they are wanting to know about antialiasing. After clicking the line tool, look at the tool bar at the top of the screen. Toggle the antialiasing setting to see if you like the lines better. 1 Quote Download: BoltBait's Plugin Pack | CodeLab | and a Free Computer Dominos Game
Red ochre
I just tried paint (as in Windows paint) - the lines are not anti-aliased and shift constrains to 45 or 90 degrees. I suspect PSS is not using paint.net? 1 Quote Red ochre Plugin pack.............. Diabolical Drawings ................Real Paintings
