LionsDragon 742 Report post Posted September 26, 2018 Where'd you lay your hands on the brain conditioning unit? I could use one myself. Fantastic work, even though I'll have to catch you later on the reps!

welshblue 1,852 Report post Posted October 20, 2018 The tree frog makes me wonder who's out of their tree ... the textures in/on it are brilliant ... it's feet, it's tongue, it's body all add to a very way out composition that reminds me of the late September days of my youth walking the fields looking for psilo' ... this image is the same result without the taste ?
Maximilian 1,669 Report post Posted October 21, 2018 Commendable renditions both of them!

welshblue 1,852 Report post Posted November 28, 2018 Red patch denoting drought area ? Nah maybe too vast A programme I enjoy watching is Outback Truckers - makes you realise how brutal parts of Australia are and the character needed by the drivers to navigate it. Corrugation enough to shake yer fillings out Interesting piece that one ... the artex planet 😀

Rickhum 318 Report post Posted November 29, 2018 Well it is pretty reddy brown and textured out that part of the back paddock. No one mentioned the four Wales then. I should have called it Australia with four wales. Tuvm 🙂
welshblue 1,852 Report post Posted November 29, 2018 Ahhh but there will only ever be one Wales 😍 ... but I see them now. It's like one of those paintings where you see different things each time you look. Makes it even more surreal now 6 hours ago, LionsDragon said: See if you can find Ice Road Truckers then--yoiks! I saw the first couple of series. Not really sure why I stopped watching it

Rickhum 318 Report post Posted November 30, 2018 Ha! I just twigged Welshblue, your a taffy. Yes of course there's only one Wales, just as well hey china. Else Australia would be unpronounceable and have 32 letters instead of just 9 🙂
welshblue 1,852 Report post Posted November 30, 2018 Prefer Sheep Shagga' to Taff 🤣 Australia is Awstralia in Welsh ... no U in our vowels ... we've got 7 of them with 'Y' being used in 3 different ways 😏 Complicated language. I speak it and read it, but struggle to write it. So many different connotations Count yourself lucky you live in NSW ... the Old South Wales is a dump (spoken like the Mid-Walian I am. Is why the Welsh aren't racist ... we spend so much time hating each other, no time for anyone else) My future kids could have been Australian 'cos we were meant to emigrate when I was 16 after my father was offered a job there, training people in the Forestry Industry . But an untimely heart attack put paid to that. Cookies and how they crumble ...
Rickhum 318 Report post Posted December 2, 2018 (edited) Welsh are a big part of the rich tapestry, since before Billy Hughes, ( yep, Welshman). I won't call you a pom then 🙂 I got a good mate (yes ha ha!) who is a Welsh import. He's blended in pretty well, naturalised & crossed with the local species. So you have my full sympathy old mate 🙂 P.S. Kiwis already have that title Welsh. Kiwis are proof that Pommies really like sheep, a lot.
