Copy and move

is there a way to copy and move an object? such as if you wanted to make a line then make several more equal distance from each other, you could select and copy it 20 pixels to the right, then 40 pixels... and so on?

if the line was on a layer by itself, you can duplicate the layer and use the panelling plugin (or alternatively the layers>rotate/zoom function).

or else you could just use the diagonal lines plugin and render your lines spaced the way you want them

sweet thanks, I'll try one of those. I searched thru the plugins, but didn't see any that looked like they did what I needed but I'll find one of those
