mdalmao
I'm using paint.net to make a minecraft texture pack edit and when I choose a certain area with the magic wand and choose gaussian blur it fades out instead of bluring the area. Why does this happen and how do I make it blur instead?
BoltBait
I've never seen that happen. You're going to have to show us images of what's going on. mdalmao
'Gaussisk oskärpa' means Gaussian blur
mdalmao
The more I try to blur it, the more transparent it gets.
pdnnoob
The Gaussian blur is factoring in the transparency outside the selection for its calculations. mdalmao
I'm sorry but what do you mean "for its calculations" ?
BoltBait
Try using Surface Blur instead of Gaussian Blur. 1 Quote Click to play: Download: BoltBait's Plugin Pack | CodeLab | and how about a Computer Dominos Game
pdnnoob
The code determines the new color value of each pixel based on a function of the values of the surrounding pixels. The radius determines how far away from each pixel it looks for values. MJW
Try using toe_head2001's Gaussian Blur (Clamped).
