tonyt
Hi, I've happiy used PaintNet for years - does exactly what I want. I may have missed something in the instructions, or on the forum so please direct me to an answer if there is one. Although I am pretty familiar with the tools one thing I ALWAYS forget is that when I start the program the tool that is selected is to draw a nice black line, whereas more often than not I really want to start the program with a select tool as I usually am editing a saved image. So my first action is to undo the wiggly line I have just drawn by mistake. Of course it is all my fault, I really should have got this by now and should select the tool before I move over the image - I'll blame my age rather than my stupidity. Is there a way to select a default start up tool? Thanks Tony

Just click (upper right corner of your paint.net window), then click Tools. 1 Quote Download: BoltBait's Plugin Pack | CodeLab | and a Free Computer Dominos Game

tonyt
Thanks BoltBait and Ego Eram Reputo! I missed that, my excuse is being an old codger with faulty eyes. Seems like topic can be closed. All the best, Tony
