witness
I'm still a newbie here so there is so much I do not know. I took a photo and the faces are not real sharp. Just slightly out of focus. Is there a quick, easy way to help fix this problem with paint.net? Thank you very much! W.
Eli
Try TR's Dodge and Burn effect. Follow this tutorial: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/28777-
Red ochre
Hello witness,Try Effects/Photo/Sharpen but the only real fix is to retake the photo, if possible. There is also a plugin called TR's Pixel Sharpener, that may give better results. http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?showtopic=26783 Quote Red ochre Plugin pack.............. witness
Hello witness, There is also a plugin called TR's Pixel Sharpener, that may give better results. http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?showtopic=26783 Okay. I managed to download and install the plugin. It pops up just like in the picture. But now I don't know how to use it. Sorry to be such a novice. I see two options: "Sharpen Amount" and "Blur Width" But I am lost as to what comes next. Do I take the Sharpen amount higher? Just a bit? Thanks guys! Red ochre
Sorry witness, the only way is to experiment with what looks best to you as every image is different. I suggest you duplicate the image so you have the original (blurred version) to compare against.Generally speaking it is better not to 'sharpen' too much as it can emphasize unwanted 'noise'.
