Help with faces out of focus in my original photo?

Recommended Posts

Hello witness,
Try Effects/Photo/Sharpen but the only real fix is to retake the photo, if possible.

There is also a plugin called TR's Pixel Sharpener, that may give better results.

Okay.  I managed to download and install the plugin.  It pops up just like in the picture.  But now I don't know how to use it.  Sorry to be such a novice.

I see two options:  "Sharpen Amount" and "Blur Width"

But I am lost as to what comes next.  Do I take the Sharpen amount higher?  Just a bit?

Thanks guys!

Sorry witness, the only way is to experiment with what looks best to you as every image is different. ;)
I suggest you duplicate the image so you have the original (blurred version) to compare against.
Generally speaking it is better not to 'sharpen' too much as it can emphasize unwanted 'noise'.
