how i can stop zooming on the edge on the picture

can you help me get zoom back normal i dont like feature it zooms on the edge in the picture i can disable it from the settings

There is no setting to disable this. It's a brand new feature in 4.0.10 -- pretty much the most highly requested feature of the last several years, in fact.

 

Try it out and give it a chance. Don't just immediately look for an off button.

I would also like to request an off button. I find this feature really annoying and would rather turn it off than try to use it, especially since the photos I work with are usually under 100x100, giving me no real reason to want it at all.

If you need to re-center the image, press Ctrl+B twice.

 

This will toggle Fit-to-Window twice. The first press of Ctrl+B will center the image, the second will restore the zoom level you were using.

Also, if you're using the Zoom tool, it will be fixed in the next update (4.0.11).
