HITMAN-X-
Well I know people have many hobbies. I have more then I can think of. So instead of getting into that. I though it be fun to see what people may collect for one or more of there hobbies. That is if one of your hobbies has collecting apart of it. RULES: 1. Must post only hobbies that result in collecting some item or thing. 2. May post hobbies that you plan to start someday. 3. Feed back on other people hobbies are welcome but remember to be nice . Ya rule 3 is kinda of pointless as the mods are always making sure that people are in line. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shall I start ?, I think I shall. Music, I collect so much music that I lost count. I know my iPod has about half of my music on it. My iPod only got 1065 songs. Most of my music is back in my home town and a lot of it is on tapes as I got most around the time CD's were just coming out. Movies, I building my own collection. My dad has like 6000 movies as we got 4 bookshelfs that go from the foor to the roof fulled. So now that I moved I got to get my own collection lol. Anime, Well it could go under movies but I like to keep them apart. This one takes a lot of time to full as there no place to buy anime here. So I got to order in box sets or disk by disk. Swords, This one I plan to start real soon. Matter a fact I was going to try and order one today as I been eyeing it for sometime now. Plus I got paid today. If the 1st one comes out ok then I will start collecting. Your turn ! Quote DEXTUT.COM

Crazy Man Dan
The main thing I'm collecting at the moment is video games, both consoles and games, both new and classic. I presently have 14 total systems (9 home consoles, 5 handhelds), with 272 total games (214 console games, 58 handheld games). It includes classics like the SNES and original GameBoy, underdogs like the Saturn and Dreamcast, and one practically unknown in the form of the Tiger Game.com. I plan to continue with this collection for as long as we both shall live. Right now, my CD collection is only at about 80 CDs, but I plan to continue expanding that collection until physical CDs are no longer produced. My DVD collection is pitifully small, at only 15 DVD movies and one 4-Disc TV Series box set (Firefly, of course). I plan to continue working on this one as well. eclipse148
Right now I collect Metal Gear Solid stuff. I plan on branching out and collecting things from my other favorite video games, like Soul Calibur, when I can get a job. I also want to start collecting various weapons, but my living in NY will prevent me from obtaining some of them (Nunchaku, for example). I have a katana and two foam nunchaku at the moment. I am a fan of rifles and machines guns though, pistols are for sissies who can't carry a real gun *Keeps an M249 SAW in his backbpocket at all times* Money: To fund these two collections, it is needed a lot Currently my income has shifted from coming from a newspaper round, to building and designing websites. (Win!) I like Guns myself but do to laws here in Canada I can't get most guns on my list. As for "pistols are for sissies", Ya I don't think I would say that to some one with a 50 AE Desert Eagle, or a .500 S&W Magnum. When your pistol can shoot through a armour car such as a bank truck. I go for a WW2 TT33 7.62mm pistol if I could get one. Finding 7.62mm P type ammo may be hard though. Quote DEXTUT.COM
ShadowsOfTears
My favorite is BB's. I seem to have a large collection of children sometimes too. Only sometimes, thankfully. I collect movies. I have a large collection of VHS from my childhood and then the more adult movies. Then the DVDs I've bought over the last few years. I think I have somewhere around 200-300. That's not counting downloaded movies I have stored on data dvds. Which is somewhere around 200 as well  I also seem to be collecting computer parts and software now as well since my boyfriend moved in. We have a 30 gallon storage tote full of software of all kinds, some as old when computers were first invented. Then 2 more full of various computer parts. And a closet filled with even more... Is it too late for spring cleaning?

Isn't it just amazing how we tend to surround ourselves with things. Yes it is. I just find it interresting what people will collect. I never though of my back room fulled with computer parts as collecting. I just like to have parts on hand when building computers as I build a lot of computers. At home and at work, this computer I am typing on now is about to feel my cool steel non-magnetic :Tools: driver . Ok I am lying, I really don't need to do anything to this computer as it running fine. It just need to lose it data and start a new life. Well I got my computer put back together at home a few days ago and last night I ordered my 1st Sword. So this may be the begining of a new collection for me. I don't think anyone can really say they don't collect anything. Thing is most people are collecting something without even knowing it.
