null54's Plugin Pack (2018-06-20)

Wrong is trusting an anti virus.

That's an FALSE POSITIVE, because of an EXE packed with the same harmless EXE-Packer, that is used by Malware-Coders to hide their malware.

Hi. Not sure what I've done wrong but I get the following when I try and install these effects see attached

As @IRON67 stated your antivirus is giving you a false positive.

All the installer is doing is copying the plugins into the paint.net folders, but some antivirus applications detect that as suspicious.

Thanks guys - no worries, I've disabled Microsoft Defender. Another funny thing - I have 2 machines and only 1 shows this as a false positive. Very strange indeed.

Best

The installer fails if you have the Windows 10 / Microsoft Store version installed.  It says it can't detect Paint.NET and then refuses to extract.

That is a known issue.

@BoltBait's installer looks for the Paint.NET installation directory in the Windows Registry, which is only present for the classic version.

As a workaround you can download the individual zipped plugins from the linked threads.
