Illnab1024 Posted May 10, 2006 Share Posted May 10, 2006 You seem to imply that the text tool creates a new layer, which it does not. Therefore, a new layer must be created if you wish to move the text without disturbing other parts of your image. And once you have your text in a new layer, go to the Tools window, and click on Rectangle Select. Then select a rectangle around your text and click on Move Selection.
