RAWFileLAB - RAW File reader with non-intrusive DCRaw GUI (Nov. 2017)

Recommended Posts

A fast, versatile RAW file loader plugin

The optimal RAW file reader for Paint.NET:

  • Displays raw image metadata for the most recent raw image loaded into Paint.NET
  • User may set all options supported by DCRAW in the GUI after loading, so that it can be reloaded with changed DCRaw options.
  • Non-intrusive: Can be minized and will stay minimized between sessions.

Features

  • Supports 23 raw file extensions - tested with samples from link at bottom
  • Raw files: .3fr, .arw, .cf2, .cr2, .crw, .dcr, .dng, .erf, .kdc, .mdc, .mef, .mos, .mrw, .nef, .nrw .orf, .pef, .raf, .raw, .rw2, .sr2, .srw, .x3f
  • Includes Nikon (.nrw), Aptus (.mos), Hasselblad (.3fr), Kodak (.kdc and .dcr), Panasonic (.rw2), Samsung (.srw), Minolta (.mdc)

Changes

  • Displays raw file metadata as default, DCRaw options in secondary tab
  • Makes sure Paint.NET is the active application after loading raw image.
  • Remembers window state, including minimized between sessions.
