Ryker Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Hia! So I've been stumbling through the tutorial graveyard, and there are actually some really cool tutorials in there! The only issues are they're either confusing, or they don't have screenshots to go with them. Would it be frowned upon if I went through the graveyard, picked some really cool tutorials, made sure that there wasn't already a tutorial for them, and remade the tutorial with screenshots, or easier to follow instructions? I'd give credit to the original poster of course, but I'm not sure if all these tutorials should be totally forgotten about. Thanks for your time! ( The cake is a lie.) 1 Quote

Ego Eram Reputo Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Yes! Please do rebuild broken tutorials. Make sure the techniques are compatible with 4.0.9. You don't want to waste your time rebuilding a tutorial which is obsolete 1 Quote ebook: Mastering Paint.NET | resources: Plugin Index | Stereogram Tut | proud supporter of Codelab plugins: EER's Plugin Pack | Planetoid | StickMan | WhichSymbol+ | Dr Scott's Markup Renderer | CSV Filetype | dwarf horde plugins: Plugin Browser | ShapeMaker

On a short, separate note (that should probably be a new topic), how do you tag people in posts? I end up just typing @username, but that doesn't seem to work. Quote

Ryker Posted March 26, 2016 Author Posted March 26, 2016 @toe_head2001 Thank you so much for your help! I would have never figured that out on my own. Quote
lynxster4 Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 @Ryker, that would be great! I've been snooping around in the graveyard also, and wished there weren't so many 'broken' tuts. Some techniques never go out of style. Thank you!
