Kronos Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 I installed the latest version of Paint.Net.I use Windows 8 It goes through the installation with no problem. But never installs it. There is no "icon" on desktop for paint.net program There are no files made. There are no error codes. As I said, it goes through the installation with no problem. Yet does not show anything was installed. How can I fix this? Quote
Ego Eram Reputo Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Hi Kronos - welcome to the forum. First let's find out if you're trying to install the correct thing. There have been instances where the ads on the paint.net website have been misleading. Go here and download the latest version: http://www.getpaint.net/download.html#download then try installing that. toe_head2001 Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Can you see files in "C:\Program Files\paint.net\" while the installation is in progress. i.e. Before the installation finishes? Quote My Gallery | My Plugin Pack Layman's Guide to CodeLab
