ContagiousCane
Whenever I try and download paint.net 4.0.9, I try and install it through Google Chrome. Whenever I try and use paint.net, I've looked in my start, taskbar, everywhere basically, and I still don't see the application. I unzipped it and I don't see it anywhere. I'm running windows 8.1 and I cannot find it anywhere. Can anyone give me some fixing suggestions or troubleshooting? yuxor
Try disable your antivirus. (Edit by Rick: no, that is a very very very bad suggestion) Antivirus can place downloaded file immediately to carantin without any questions to you (some AV default options). OR open your antivirus, go to carantin menu and choose your zip-file, click "not a virus" or "restore" or "recovery" or something like that. Rick Brewster
Let's NOT suggest that people disable antivirus when downloading things off the Internet. That is very dangerous advice. Also, I believe you mean "quarantine", not "carantin" Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
david.atwell
If you're installing on Google Chrome, the download manager should show you a button at the bottom-left of the screen that says "paint.net.4.0.9.install.zip". Click the arrow on the right of that button and hit "Show in folder". It will open the folder it's been saved to and highlight the ZIP file. Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
