How to use transparent color?

Recommended Posts

I've used transparent color before in my images, but it's been awhile and I forgot how I did so. Here is an image below:

I tried using the Opacity Alpha level, but it just makes parts of my image completely disappear. And that wasn't even the tool I used before. Anyone know how I do this again? And if I can use it with the triangle shape?

1 Open your image.

2 Add a new layer.

3 Draw your lines, shapes, colors, etc.

4 Open Layer Properties and lower the opacity of the layer.

- Another alternative is you can add a new layer to draw on

- Then choose your color, and then in the colors window click "MORE". At the bottom is the "Alpha - Opacity". Don't lower it all the way, play with it till you have what you like.

You can draw with the paintbrush, line/curve tool, or shapes tool.
