paint.net 4.0.9 is now available!

I don't see a clean link to download Paint.net from this forum. 

 

I attempted a download from getpaint.net but noticed that a popup appeared  'Enjoy Internet Speed Tracker'

and of course I didn't click on the 2 boxes that offered ASK.com toolbar and Search!

 

Damn it, even though I didn't add a check mark in the 2 boxes,  the bloody ASK search and toolbar

installed itself (without my permission) on my PC which I have since removed.

 

How can I download the Paint program without all this intrusive rubbish...hateful?

If you already have paint.net installed, just use the built-in updater by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right corner of your paint.net screen.

No I don't have Paint installed, I need to do a new install.
