File: C:\Program Files\Paint.NET\Effects\Smudge.dll

Effect Name: pyrochild.effects.smudge.Smudge

Full error message: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'pyrochild.effects.common, Version=2.0.3106.38959, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

File name: 'pyrochild.effects.common, Version=2.0.3106.38959, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'

at pyrochild.effects.smudge.Smudge.CreateConfigDialog()

at PaintDotNet.Menus.EffectMenuBase.RunEffect(Type effectType)

WRN: Assembly binding logging is turned OFF.

To enable assembly bind failure logging, set the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog] (DWORD) to 1.

Note: There is some performance penalty associated with assembly bind failure logging.

To turn this feature off, remove the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog].

Help?

(i opened the file..I didn't want any other plugin. I copied it and pasted into the effects file and thats it)

You have to also put pyrochild.effects.common.dll in the effect folder.

That is needed for all of pyro's plugins

Someone help... i downloaded it but its missing and I don't understand this!!:cry:

Have you followed all of the steps in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=2023

You have to also put pyrochild.effects.common.dll in the effect folder.

That is needed for all of pyro's plugins

Technically, about half of them don't need it, but it's simpler just to have it anyway.

Hey, this plugin looks really sweet, although I cannot find the custom brushes folder where you're supposed to put it.

I'm running Paint.NET 3.36 on Vista Home Premium 32 bit.

Where should it go?

Thanks a lot!

You will find your Custom brushes folder in the following directory "Documents\Paint.NET User Files\Custom Brushes\"
