Hot Potato
Hi everybody, Yesterday I discovered this wonderful site! I am overwhelmed by the amount and the great number of plugins! So...please tell me, how can I make my own folder with my favourite plugs?
BoltBait
It is not currently possible for users to reorganize their Effects menu. However, if you use the Plugin Browser plugin, you can bookmark plugins as your favorites: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?showtopic=29308 Quote Download: BoltBait's Plugin Pack | CodeLab | and a Free Computer Dominos Game
barbieq25
Hi Hot Potato! Welcome to the forum & the wonderful world of Paint.NET. You can take the ones you are not using & put them somewhere else. If you decide you do want them put the .DLL file back in. If you keep every plugin in the Effects folder, the program will start slower than ideal. So basically you only keep your favourite ones in your Effects folder. Quote Knowledge is no burden to carry. Hot Potato
Hi Boltbait, Many thanx for your reply. Another thing is...I loaded an image, but the preview in the Plugin Browser doesn't function in my case. What could be the reason? @barbieq25 Thanx for your tip. BoltBait
The "preview" window in the Plugin Browser is not a preview of your image, but a preview image that is built-in to the individual effects. Ego Eram Reputo
Plugin Browser is a relatively recent plugin and the first to use an embedded preview image to demonstrate the Effect. Older plugins in particular will almost certainly not have a preview image to display.
