Question about renders...

When I find a render, how do I make it only the render, not the background. Like i found this one:http://planetrenders.net/renders/displayimage.php?pos=-28831 but it gives me a black background.

Any help is apreciated!

If I understand you correctly, search for "cutting out image"

If you're registered there, clicking on that image takes you to the image which is rendered on a transparent background.

Otherwise, you'll need to do like Ash says and actually cut the image out.

Wouldn't the magic wand tool work if you used contiguous?

not necessarily...if the render is on a black background, and the render itself has any black in it the same hue, the contiguous magic wand will select that as well.

Do as he said. Once you see the larger view, right click and save as PNG. You need to save the picture then open it. Otherwise it has a black background.
