Korben
I made an image with a transparent part and background, but when I save as a .gif or .jpeg it loses its transparency and grows a white background. I am hosting it on imageshack.us to be hotlinked. What am I doing wrong?
Mike Ryan
You shouldn't be having this problem with the GIF format, however the JPEG format does not support transparency. I recommend saving in the PNG format as this is usable on the internet, is lossless, supports transparency, and has animation capabilities. Curmudgeon
when saving as a .gif, you need to be mindful of your transparency threshold.
