chinadragondoll
I opened my paint.net to work with a transparent cluster frame to resize it and then saved it as .png to keep the transparency and the transparency was gone. Instead of the hole in the frame being Transparent as it should be, it was now Solid. So, I used the Magic Wand to erase the unwanted solidness and used the Delete to get rid of it and saved again as .png and the image was still Solid. This has never happened before. Stumped, I uninstalled paint.net and download the newest version and installed it to find paint.net opens the desired cluster frame, yet when I go to save it as .png, the transparency no longer functions. pyrochild
Make sure you're saving with Bit Depth as Auto-detect, 32-bit or 8bit in the PNG save configuration dialog. 24 -bit does not save the alpha (transparency) channel. chinadragondoll
It was just set to Auto-detect only. Going to try this with the 32-bit configuration. Thank you. Specifing the 32-bit worked. ***HAPPY DANCE**** Edited December 14, 2015 by chinadragondoll
