Kat
Reading your title, I don't have the slightest idea what you mean by "exclusion layer mode". What is it?

becauseilearn
The "Exclusion layer" would seem to be negation applied to the layer in Paint.NET. Difference causes more of a solarization effect when applied to an original picture as per the instructions in the tutorial.
Kat
Read this Thanks! It nearly seems sensible to me if I downloaded PDN on another computer and set the language to English, so I needn't ask those stupid questions all the time... I had no idea that it was related to a term used within the program!!!
