You can read this excellent tutorial by Crazy Man Dan on the Alpha Mask Import Plugin here: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=5276 It may take a few reads to truly grasp the concept, but once you have, alpha masking can be an invaluable tool in photo-manipulation, yielding fantastic results.
