aeonix
Is there a way to do this? EXAMPLES: If not, can someone write a tutorial? Quote My Blog|My DeviantART|Last.FM
007 Nab
If there isn't a way to do it... how would someone write a tutorial? I'm guessing youj could mess with saturation/brightness/contrast. Fiddle with Curves - I'm gonna try this -it ooks cool. Quote "pyrochild, you're my favorite person ever. We should go snowboarding some time."~ 007 Nab. Ish. PDN Gallery | I Made a Deviant Art! 007 Nab
You seem to misunderstand my humor: Is there a way to do this?If not, can someone write a tutorial? You ask if it's possible, and then say that if not, you'd like someone to write a tutorial... Quote "pyrochild, you're my favorite person ever. We should go snowboarding some time."~ 007 Nab. Ish. ZizOiz
make a new layer over your picture, fill with white, select a rectangle smaller than the canvas size, gaussian blur it. Set the layer's opacity to 64. select the original layer, and run curves. Set it to RGB mode For blue, put a dot on the far left 1.5 squares up, and on the far right, another dot .5 squares down for red and green. make it so they reach maximum value just before they reach the far right. Hope this helps. Quote  Click on my signature image for my gallery | hmmmm...

aeonix
Wait: I have an idea. What color and hue would vintage lighting be? Quote My Blog|My DeviantART|Last.FM
Myrddin
I would think yellow or blue because of photograph deterioration. The vintage style sponges off primarily from old photos, and with them being old comes also their degradation in yellow or blue hints. By and large due to the chemicals used for the production of the photograph. MiguelPereira
before following Ash and Myrddin's suggestion lower the contrast value... EDIT: Something like this? (Original - Left, Manipulated - Right) Actually this is pluginable! I have been looking for it for weeks. Say, if I was to write a tutorial for this, would it get locked? Quote My Blog|My DeviantART|Last.FM
