brandon.roeder
Does anyone know of a good gif. animator that you can edit the length of each frame like photoshop cs3? I need to create timed frames, (where one frame is 2 seconds, the next is 3, and so on) Anybody know a good free app? Thanks Quote My DA|My Gallery|My Website

Crazy Man Dan
If I may be so bold as to suggest The GIMP, you can customize frame times for animated GIFs by placing a ([x]ms) where [x] is the time in milliseconds at the end of the layer name. You may be able to specify other units of time by changing the abbreviation after the number (such as (3s) for three seconds), but I'm not certain - I've never used anything other than ms. I don't know if you're looking for a standalone program to do it, as The GIMP is rather large if all you're going to use it for is GIF animation, but it can do what you ask. Crazy Man Dan
"Never used anything other than ms" where ms = milliseconds. I've tested, and no, you can't specify (3s) for three seconds. You'd have to use (3000ms).
