If you decide to do that for a theme i would enter in a heartbeat why don't you do the big bad wolf in the woods from Red Riding Hood? that seems to fit. MiguelPereira
Just a quick question, do images created on other software count as stock? even is they're our creation to begin with? Quote [The stock on my sig is a photo I took not a render from Splatter] [My deviantART][My Gallery][My Space]
Mike Ryan
Yes. Pretty much if it is not created in Paint.NET, then it is counted as stock in a Paint.NET specific work. Thanks for pointing that out, I will edit the rules later.
Yata
I'm feeling traditional-artistic today. Is sketching on paper okay? I'm not feeling raster/vectory right now. Mike Ryan
As long as coloring, cleanup, and textures are done in Paint.NET
ZizOiz
can it be fairy-tale-like, if not from a specific story? Quote  Click on my signature image for my gallery | hmmmm...

ZizOiz
 Then I know precisely what I'm going to do. I also already know what I'm going to do for an alternate world theme, when it comes up. Oh yes, random things do pop up in my head. Oh yes, they do. Quote  Click on my signature image for my gallery | hmmmm...
Mike Ryan
Question: Can we enter non-Paint.NET created works? Related Answer: Of course not. It's the PDN forums. Competitions on the PDN forums should be PDN-based. If PDN isn't involved in the mix, then dA is a better place for it.

In return for that preview, I shall give you this bit of information about my progress: My image, in its final form will be 1100 x 630 pixels, and my background is completely done! Here is a preview:  I'm not using the same method as my sunset tree here; I'm paying more attention to the big picture, and using larger brushes.
