melibee03
I am new to this program and I am trying to take photos of my son and make them black and white photos while keeping his eyes blue. I have found a tutorial on here that I have tried 7 times and all I get at when I merge layers is a black and white pic. Please help me. I am good at following directions but for some reason this is not working for me!! Thanks!
Simon Brown
Try This: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=4196 Also, you may wish to change the thread title, the current one is against the forum rules as it is non-descriptive and it would be annoying if a moderator locked this thread. ZizOiz
open you image, press control+shift+D, then control+shift+G. Make sure the top (black and white) layer is selected. Then select the eraser tool, and erase the eyes. Does that help? (control+shift+D duplicates the layer you are on, and selects the top layer, while control+shift+G changes the selected layer to black and white. What you are doing with the eraser tool is erasing the black and white layer, but the layer below that has color, and where you erase, the colored layer shows through.)
