@ Pixey ... great to see your smiling face back here.

Many thanks - I'm glad you enjoyed Depths,  it's my all time favourite of my own work

@ Sasha and Dryda' ... many thanks for the visit and the kind comments.

To all who commented on Le Requin ... many thanks. It is truly appreciated.

Sadly I'm lacking any inspiration for anything new and interesting to make in PDN  ... after 5 1/2 years I think I'm finally hitting the wall and opening up other art programmes more and more

Cheers DarkShock ... funny you should pick out older pieces I don't like anymore

I won't depress you with an answer to your question ... let's just say if I'm AWOL for a few weeks then  the 4 'ologists I'm seeing/ due to see didn't work out

Whoever's sticking pins in me here - well, it's working  :Cut:

Clearing out PDN files I came across this  ... Don't Be Afraid of The Dark ... Sculptris with stock images  and PDN embellishments.

Suits my mood

Enjoy ...

love that piece... Very macabre and a bit gruesome... It's kinda like Two-Face from Batman, only he's crossed over and started doing slasher films :)

Uh, Welsh. Do you seriously want us to get a heart attack? fear.gif

Other than the fact that it's scary, it's stunningly creative. Unbelievable what you're able to do. You're so talented.

Welshy, if you are going to find stuff like that - keep cleaning out! Looks like we both are doing the same things AGAIN...that's what I have been doing.

It is scary but the level of detail is even scarier. Brilliant background for the image too. It needs to be on an album cover! Seriously good!

Don't be afraid of the dark is a brilliant work mate,  I agree it would make a good album cover, your mind must be a scary place to live in sometimes :D Seriously though top work indeed B)

Well done on another galleria entry too.

Sorry Welshy but I'm afraid I can't let you have any more Galleria entries. You're making us all look bad and I might have to kill you.

This message will self destruct in 5 seconds, good bye.

...No. I will not have nightmares after seeing that picture. It's too wonderful and creepy for that. :]

@ EER ... thanks mate.  Altho' I feel a bit of a fraud having it go in the Galleria, when it's a jigsaw of parts that I only put together on top of a face I made in Sculptris.  Guess who's blog inspired me to start it ;)

@ Daniels ... many thanks.  Never watched a BatMan film if I'm honest.  The last time I watched BatMan Adam West was the starring role.   I know plenty of 2 Faced people, some with more faces than Big Ben ...  After googling him I see what you mean

@ Helen ... many thanks.  Noooo to the heart attack, if I killed you lot off no-one would visit   Nah I'm not talented, I'm just a plugin cruncher - people like yourself who create beautiful things with pencils and brushes are the talent

@ BarbieQ' ... the magic camera mirroring us again ;)  It's quite sad how many PDN files I've got.  Many thanks, but as I said to EER I just built it up, but your kind words are always appreciated

@ YM ... many thanks.  I was going to have a neck showing, dripping blood but it was a bit TOO much according to my daughter.  My mood - the walking dead mate.  3 hours sleep a night for months and that's how I feel - and look according to my kids

@ Drew' ... thanks mate.  An album cover ?  For a headbanging band    My mind ... it's scary for me sometimes living in it.  Even I've got to question some of the things I find funny @ times.  Is why in real life some people love me and some people hate me

@ Dryda' ... bad news mate.  The message didn't self destruct and I've passed your details onto the malicious communications unit - for some reason they gave me a sawn off shotgun and a SatNav route to your house  :P  But I'll say thanks for the comments before I pull the trigger ...

@ Sasha ... many thanks.  As Drew will tell you - it is out of a horror movie ... the car crash that's my mind ;)

@ Beta' ... many thanks.  I had to laff at that.  Strangely a few versions back from that one it was creepier but I over-worked it slightly and it lost it's edge a bit.

Many thanks for the congratulations off y'all.

Broken Britain ... a bit of artistic licence with some parts never having held a PSP, it's all from references and the text, logo from http://psx-scene.com/forums/attachments/f111/14174d1214396250-argon-sms-based-player-xmb-gui-19_scee-psp-icon-typeface.gif'> here

Broken Britain is very cool. There have been many times I'd love to have smashed a screen. The broken screen part is really so good & good use of the flag too. Well done!

Broken Britain is another amazing work Welshblue, I would also say about adding some glass fragments on the floor (or some blood on the screen  ) Seriously good work, a highly realistic creation. :)

I look through this gallery many many times and each time I do it makes me feel like quitting trying to create stuff, your work is just genius, (my stuff is just pointless doodles compared to what you do with PDN. All I get is negative feedback in comp entries. :(  )
It is always a pleasure to browse and see your new work. Broken Britain is a fave, don't be afraid of the dark would be something I would like as my desktop wallpaper. No charge is sheer excellence too, I just wish I had the ability to make what you do, long may you show the way Welshblue.

Fraud my bottom.

You want to be careful mate. I read in one of my wife's magazines about someone doing body enhancements - turned out they were using cement dust and tyre sealant. Hope you're going to a reputable specialist

@ BarbieQ' ... as always many thanks. The flag seemed a natural choice to put there and the title was born. The glass is a brush from a very good pack I found

@ YM ... thanks mate. And pun is good. Britain is broken, morals are gone, politicians feathering there own nests and helping the rich get richer whilst penalising the poor. Not to mention invading countries we've no right to be in after misleading  lying to the voters.  Then there's illegal immigrants who break the law but can't be deported because they've got a cat.  We have to pay the european union money to be told what to do (like keeping illegal immigrants because they've got a cat).  Oh it's definitely broken.  Kick my soapbox away ...

@ Pixey ... always nice to see you.  Many thanks, glad you enjoyed the latest 2.  A handicap ?  Some would say I'm special in my own way ...

@ Sasha ... yourself and YM are right.  I should have put glass fragments on the floor ... I couldn't see the wood for the trees and it never occurred to me.  I'll have to do it now or I won't be happy with the piece.  Many thanks.

@ Helen ... you're too kind.  But at my time of life I'm always happy to take compliments off a young woman ;)  Many thanks

@ Oceana ... nooooooo.

What you're not seeing in my gallery is my early stuff from 5 years ago.

What you are seeing is the result of learning some tricks over the five years, aided by quite a few people.

Don't be too hard on yourself, keep at it and things click into place.  I wouldn't take that comment in the Logo Discussion thread too much to heart - it was an ignorant comment by someone who's entry isn't that good that they can go insulting other people.  You got one of my votes.

Any time you would like advice on making something; I'm old, haven't got a life and here every day so drop me a PM and I'm happy to guide you through things.  As would others.

It's all about practice and experience.  Your current sig shows you're heading in the right direction - very pleasing on the eye

Many thanks for the kind words, and please don't get disheartened, it's all a learning curve
