@Pixey and @JulioCoolio ... much thanks for the kind words.  Seems months ago

Only about 30 % of PDN in Stem Cell I'm afraid ... the majority of it is Incendia and my head (Incendia is good - my head isn't when I start thinking too much)

Devil's Pulpit

This is a project that's been on the go since January.  Slightly overworked (a lot)and if I don't post it now, I'll totally ruin it.

Named after a local landmark and my wife reckons I'm more likely to see the pulpit rather than the pearly gates ...

Lovely work on your last 3. The Devil's Pulpit is just marvellous. Quite eerie yet serene. Well done on all!

What a lovely landscape :star:  Lots of detail and shiny too.  I'm wondering if you used this tutorial for the trees?  I've been meaning to try it out sometime :)

WOW, @welshblue that looks so beautiful and so desolate.  Wonderful scene!  :)  <3

It instantly reminded me of the news story I just saw this morning about the woman lost in a Hawaiian forest for 17 days and they found her alive. Great job!  :star:

@welshblue awesome job on the details of the mountains and landscaping around them. And the sun camera flare (not sure what to call that) is also placed in a great spot. I’d love to visit that area depicted in the image.

@barbieq25 ... really good to see you here 😀 Thanks a lot.  You know me and eerie ...

@Pixey ... as always - big thanks.  The 'trees' were Alpha Displacement on a green and brown clouds texture I tilted

@lynxster4 ... big thanks again.  It's quite a desolate scene as I started it after reading a book set in Japan and the infamous suicide mountain/ forest  Aokigahara and the idea blossomed from there.  I know.  I'm weird ...

@Seerose ... big thanks again.  Glad you enjoyed it.  Good to be back for a few days but off again tomorrow 😣

@JulioCoolio ... thank you very much.  I wasn't sure about adding a lens flare but now I am.  The real Devil's Pulpit local to here isn't much like my image

Thanks too to @ReMake and @TrevorOutlaw for the rep points

Fantastic! I would love to go hiking there.

People come from around the world to hike there, but it's one of those things I certainly take for granted.  Really should appreciate it a lot more.

Thanks for the rep'

Someone has asked for a t-shirt design with antique brass font ... still unsure which one I prefer ?  Any thoughts folks ?  Easy when it's for yourself, but not so for others

Both are excellent, but I prefer the second. The lettering in the second seems to me to be more integrated into the overall design. I also really like the arrangement of words, and the contrast between the concave "Steam" lettering and the convex "Punk" lettering.

I agree with @MJW! If it were for me I think the second one would be better! But on a t-shirt I think the first one would look better! But I think I'd tone down the big face. A little too bright! Just my opinion! (Or make the rest of it a little brighter.)

I, also like the second one. It would look great on a brown or black t-shirt. :star:

The first one is too bright. Get rid of the sparkles and tone down the brightness a bit.

I'd buy the second one!  :D

I also like the 2nd one, for a T-shirt, but I really love the text in the first one :)

<3 @welshblue!

I think both are very beautiful. For T-shirt second is very suitable.

(Honestly: Actually first is my favorite for gothic pictures)

If I may ask which font is that? Thank you for sharing your result! :cake: :coffee:

@MJW @Woodsy @Pixey @lynxster4 @Seerose ... much thanks for the input folks.  Made things clearer which way to go

Thanks for the rep' @ReMake

I wasn't entirely clear ... the backgrounds on the above images were my artistic take behind the 'brass' text I'm trying to get right.

The actual text will read Cofiwch Dryweryn on a dark red shirt ... something like these, with a bit more finesse to the rough initial take on the images

Personally I'd go for black t-shirts but not for me to reason why

I'm glad the common consensus is the steam punk style as even though it's only 3 steps I can't recreate the evil one exactly.  Will have to play with Texture Shader again because  I do like the effect for other things and it's very effective in the right setting

@Seerose the 2 fonts are https://www.dafont.com/kaiserzeit-gotisch.font   https://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/Rothenburg-Decorative
