5jncarn
I'm new to PDN. When trying to type in text I've noticed that what I type in is completely transparent and I can't see it at all. I've checked to make sure transparency mode is off, and it's off and it still happens. What should I do?
Simon Brown
Set your primary colour to black.
5jncarn
I've done that already.
Simon Brown
Is the layer blend mode normal and 255 opacity? And what colour is the background?
5jncarn
Yes. It is a black gradient background. THanks for trying to help, but I figured something out that worked. All I had to was open up a new image tab, make the bg transparent, and for some reason the text worked there. I just selescted the text and copied it onto the other image. Thanks for trying to help. Simon Brown
Try changing the text colour to white.
BoltBait
Probably what you had was an active selection (marching ants) and you were trying to put text outside of that selection. Happens all the time. Very confusing. If this happens again, just press ESC to cancel any selection you might have and try the text tool again.
