RFX, yours feels a little too fuzzy to me. Not that that's bad, I just prefer things to be a bit more sharp and clear cut. I do like the drip effect and the colors you used. Drew, I agree with what has been said before. The higher contrast with the reflection's shadow draws my eyes to it instead of the actual text. The perspective effect is pretty good, and I do like the choice of font. My vote: RFX-0 Drew Dale-2

I used the techniques in the 3D sphere extrusion tutorial. The reflections are just copious amounts of transparency gradients

It's a combination of the way it was made (a zoom blur turned opaque), and me not having AA's assistant at the time

Added a few more images, removed some others. Imageshack is stuck trying to load the "My Images" page and won't actually load any images, so I can't generate thumbnail links. Has anyone else had this trouble?

You could probably apply concepts from this tutorial to achieve the effect you are looking for.

Binary clocks usually just have dots for a display, if I understand them correct. Is this what you are trying to achieve?

I love this tutorial! The planets are outstanding! Here are two that I made, my first and one experimenting with adding craters.

I redid the James Bond sig so that everything is a bit easier to see. Also it uses the LightRays plugin for the background instead of the terrible hand-made immitation I used before
