  1. Fixed the video. The basic jist of it is: Open the program. Draw something on a new layer. Use rectangle select to select it, then move it with the move tool, and commit it to the canvas. When I try to select the field with the magic wand, it doesn't select the part where the selection used to be. It's like it's treating it as a different color. With regards to the deselecting: I launch the program, add a new layer, draw a filled rectangle. I then select it with the magic wand. When I hit enter once, it gets rid of the moveable sampling dot, but if I hit enter a second time, it does nothing. It only occurs with magic wand.
  2. First, I want to thank Rick for his hard work in getting this out, and to everyone who may have helped him along (e.g. Ed Harvey). Secondly, I've been having a bit of trouble with the magic wand after moving things. I made a video outlining the problem. Is this happening to anyone else? http://youtu.be/Ht0zbabe5Hk Also, deselecting with enter or ESC doesn't always work for me...
  3. The recolor tool is what you are looking for. Set the color you want to change as the secondary color (preferably with the color picker), and the color you want it to be as the primary color.
  4. The entries are all in, and now it's time to vote! As usual, you may vote for your four favorites. Voting ends October 19 at 9:00 PM UK time. Thanks to all who entered, and good luck!

  6. Welcome back, Lloyd! Good to see you stoppin' in again.
  7. I'll have to try this out next time I need clouds BTW, @david.atwell, it appears that the problem is with the hosting site. I clicked one of the links and they said they were down temporarily.
  8. How on earth do you come up with the ideas for so many space-scapes? Each one is unique--each one very good work
  9. Both new pieces are excellent. I almost didn't notice the face in "Skylark..." until my focus shifted from the tree
  10. That was mostly a joke. Never took any action on it. Wouldn't want to mess anything up
  11. Infuriating! I can think of soooo many nasty things to say about this guy, but I don't talk that way... I say we bombard his inbox with nasty messages. He's dumb enough to put his address on the "about" page.
  12. #20 The theme for this round is: Jewelry Store (Chosen by Yellowman) "You, your friend, or a family member..., is opening a new jewelry store and asked you to design the logo. 13. If I'm not mistaken, some of the votes need to be re-issued for Dug and Sasha. I saw that both entries had a few votes. I know that I had voted for one of them, but I voted on the entry that Noob removed...check to see if all your votes are there...
  14. Dug: Those look pretty nice. I especially like the van Gogh sig. Kemaru: A beautiful piece. Very relaxed and peaceful.
  15. If the background on your photo is transparent, just create a new layer, move it below your foreground, and fill the bottom layer with the colour of your choice.... Saves a load of time as opposed to using the brush...
  16. Time for voting is now over! Everybody placed this round! To give the numbers: Welsh and Yellowman with 12 votes Drew, Mottoman, Pixey, and Daniels with 8 votes Sasha and Dug with 7 votes Skullbonz with 6 votes Thanks everybody who entered, and congratulations across the board! I'll PM Welsh and/or Yellowman for the next theme, and we'll jump on #20 ASAP.
  17. Good to see you start a gallery. I like the banner--very flamboyant
  18. The barber shop looks good The hand rails threw me off a little at first, but then I realized both ends were bolted to the wall... Good work!
  19. You are really good, pal. Definitely professional grade work Have you looked at HyperCam? It's free, and I don't think it takes up too much memory (if RAM's your problem)... It does output to AVI, so the file sizes can get a bit big.
  20. Congratulations to the winners! I had a really hard time voting this week...everybody's entry was so good...
