  1. Nice tutorial! I added a couple of twists
  2. Find the font used, erase spelling mistakes, retype with correct font? And if you can't find the right font manually copy/paste other letters from the document.
  3. Go to Image -> Canvas Size or press CTRL+Shift+R. Then it will ask you how big you want the image to be.
  4. New image being added right now! Thanks for all the good feedback Constructive criticism is also welcomed
  5. http://sourceforge.net/projects/abrviewer/ I think? I don't use it but apparently it's .NET 3.x compatible.
  6. I don't know. I was just smudging and it happened. It was while I was changing to a new brush though. at pyrochild.effects.smudge.ConfigDialog.OnBrushesChanged()
  7. Alright. I will make this as clear as possible: Also, READ THE TEXT! It says: In the advertisement: Next to the download link:
  8. http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/25741-fake-download-links-on-httpgetpaintnet/ DON'T click on the advertisements! Click on the download link! http://getpaint.net The advertisements are kind of confusing because they have the word "Download" in them Also this should be in PDN Discussion and Questions. Don't worry, a moderator will find it and move it for you
  9. Thanks for the positive feedback I added another image.
  10. Yay! I have a gallery now! Apparently I'm too lazy to put more stuff so it has three images! Link to gallery on my website Click any image for full size. More coming soon I guess. Constructive criticism welcome!
  11. That sounds like a great idea! There will have to be some judging/ruling/stuff on whether the component was altered too much though.
  12. sashwilko: The light effect is great, and even though it's kind of blurry, that enhances it also because it makes it look more... glowy? It also probably should have a bigger background. 3x Tee: It looks really realistic! The only problem IMO is the middle; the star looks a bit odd with the metal swirl thing in it. Maybe it's just me. Other than that, it's great! 4x Totals -=+=- Tee: x 15 Sashwilko: x 10 Tee wins! -=+=- I enter with a piece I found from a long time ago: Full-sized version: http://i.imgbox.com/acfCzuQ8.png
  13. Great start to your gallery! The first image full-size looks like it really came from the star wars movie Looking forward to seeing more of your work!
  14. System.BadImageFormatException: Could not load file or assembly 'Accessibility, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' or one of its dependencies. The module was expected to contain an assembly manifest. Looks like there's a file called "Accessibility" somewhere in your Paint.NET folder that got messed up or something. (I program in Java, not C#, so I'm not sure but I think that's the problem.) Copy this: C:\Arquivos de programas\Paint.NET\ Press Windows, and then press CTRL+V. If you see a file called Accessibility, then that's a problem. Also, I hate bacon.
  15. Was your fill bucket in global mode? EDIT: oh, you used paint. Paint doesn't have a global mode so that is what should have happened. They really are transparent (if you save in PNG).
  16. I took your image and magic wanded it: everything seems fine: Edit: Oh, I see your problem. You want to get the areas in between the horse legs. To do that, change the magic wand's fill mode to global:
  17. Could you upload a screenshot? (And it's a bad idea to just release your email for all of the spammers to see)
  18. What path are you extracting them to? (eg. C:/Program Files/Paint.NET/Effects)
  19. That reflection looks awesome, sashwiko! (Sorry that took so long to respond, I didn't have access to a computer )
  20. Crash System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at PaintDotNet.ServiceProviderExtensions.GetService[TService](IServiceProvider serviceProvider) in D:\src\pdn\pdn_35x\src\Base\ServiceProviderExtensions.cs:line 23 at pyrochild.effects.common.PngBrushCollection..ctor(IServiceProvider serviceprovider, String ownername) at pyrochild.effects.smudge.ConfigDialog.OnBrushesChanged() at System.IO.FileSystemWatcher.CompletionStatusChanged(UInt32 errorCode, UInt32 numBytes, NativeOverlapped* overlappedPointer) at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.runTryCode(Object userData) at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.RuntimeHelpers.ExecuteCodeWithGuaranteedCleanup(TryCode code, CleanupCode backoutCode, Object userData) at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.Run(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state) at System.Threading._IOCompletionCallback.PerformIOCompletionCallback(UInt32 errorCode, UInt32 numBytes, NativeOverlapped* pOVERLAP)
  21. Oh, I seem to have found a way. It requires brushes, but I think I could make it work without them. I'm going to edit it into my original post to help future readers.
  22. 1. select clone stamp tool 2. CTRL+Click on the thing you want to clone 3. move your mouse where you want the clone to be 4. click and drag By the way, this shouldn't be in tutorials, it should be in PDN Discussion and Questions.
  23. The problem with the first one is that it creates unrealistic symmetry in textures like rock. The problem with the second one is that it's for objects.
