Thanks, I am installing Ver 1803 at the moment with 2 more in the queue. That's probably the problem. Had to replace my HDD and my recovery disc is out of date. Thanks for the suggestion!

Hello, I have used Paint.net for years but a recent HDD crash has me confused. I installed a new HDD followed by the latest version of Win10 but when I try to install Paint.net I get a error saying, "Must have Win 7, 8.1 or 10" and then the installation stops. What can I do to install Paint.net?

thanks -- a question -- when you say "change width X 4" How do I do this? In the menu for changing the canvas size there is a place to increase the image from 100% to 400% but I'm not sure this is the right place to change the width X4 as you suggested. I really appreciate the help ---

Hello - I am working with a wiring diagram which is 8.5x11 normally. I'd like to enlarge the image to print on 4 pages each 8.5x11 that I can tape together so I end up with a large image that I should be able to read more easily. Thx

Is it possible to change the checkerboard that appears when using the eraser to something closer to the dominant background - I usually work with a white "canvas" and the checkerboard is very distracting. Ideas? Thx -
