  1. I think you want a possible way to see what has been scribbled out? It may help us if you can be more exact in your wording. Try scanning the back and letting us see it. If i tell you i want you to fix my car, and i make a weird sound with my mouth, it's up to how you interpret the noise that i am making. You may even be able to do a pencil rubbing with a new sheet of paper and hope that the original letters were impressed deeper, which may reveal enough of a shape to guess each letter.
  2. Hello, NN I would save a pdn copy and your png comment which is correct.
  3. I see nothing but a black and white image of a train. I see no red line at all.
  4. This is not normal. Make sure you get the msi from getpaint.net You may have a badly infected computer. Do you know how to defrag? You may also have a lot of junk in your computer like too many items in your temps or in your prefetch folder in windows c: I clean and defrag every month. It's a good habit to have.
  5. Do you mean to say that you deleted a layer from a pdn file, or that you deleted something from the program file? If you deleted something from the install directory just reinstall the program. If it's an item from a layer that you then saved it you will need to find the element again and replace it inside on a new layer. Sorry, i don't speak portuguese. It would help if you explain it with a little more detail.
  6. Every problem has its solution. You may need to remove a single color with color to transparency, or clip out the element that you want. Best thing is to show your image so members may evaluate it and give a better solution.
  7. If i understand what you want, you only need to use the hue shift. Move the top slider to change all of the shades at one time.
  8. You can use the mini brush plugin. That isn't drawn, it's a brush. Look at these http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/25792-photoshop-brush-filetype/?view=findpost&p=385683&hl=%2Bmini+%2Bbrush http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/14845-custombrushesmini-v21/?view=findpost&p=285131&hl=%2Bmini+%2Bbrush
  9. Hello ck, and welcome. First off, you should try to post examples of your problem. It's always better for the forum to actually see the issue. If you need help with posting images let us know.
  10. Never apologize for learning something new. I forgot to put in my second example that i used aa assistant and slid the top slider of sharpness to 1. This makes the transparent areas slightly larger and helps with revealing more drop shadow.
  11. Two variations This one is just two colors like you have with the cloud effect applied as shown on the same layer http://postimg.org/image/e1mgu3hpx/ This one has cloud with the darker green on layer one and one of the colors as transparent for the cloud effect. Then i did a drop shadow. You can use the settings as shown. http://postimg.org/image/hzuoizrlj/ Good luck
  12. If i might add You can use EER's approach and if it's on its own layer you can add a small amount of drop shadow to give it some depth and a touch of realism. Don't offset the drop much. Maybe 0 and 0 or 1 and 1. Set widening at 0 with blur at 1 or 1 and 1 again.
  13. Don't think they have exactly what you want. There is a plugin called text formations. You may have to do it manually.
  14. That is easy then. Just hold shift :evillaugh: :evillaugh: :evillaugh: :evillaugh: :evillaugh: :evillaugh:
  15. If you do not have objects on multiple layers, nothing will work. If it's just a flat one layer image you will be limited. You can post a link to it and we may be able to offer solutions.
  16. I used your thumbnail and made a new layer. Used a brush to trace part of the pattern. Just flipped it over and merged it. Some i did freehand. Some things take some practice and patience. It helps that i have some ability in 3d space. I still have much more to learn. It's always changing.
  17. You will need a dedicated program if you want really good results. I have used a particular one for a few years now. Not going to mention it here. The suggested help is going to be your best shot. You can't ask more from one of the developers and knows this program intimately. Good luck
  18. Thanks, ocre Those terms are known in the model/rendering world. Looks good fraser. I hope it all works out for you. I see you took the tan and turned it into a black and white, inverted it and then maybe darkened it? I was going to suggest that, but you did it on your own. I think i captured the pattern pretty good?
  19. If the element you want to make smaller is on a top layer you just select all, copy and paste it into a new image on a second layer to keep the transparency. Reduce the image 10 percent or whatever. Select all, copy and paste to a new layer back to the first image. Then delete the layer you don't want.
  20. Happy birthday. This should get you most of the way. http://postimg.org/image/uowacn2fx/ Here's a png zip http://www.filedropper.com/tread Now it's really a present. I colored it to match the tan in your image a finished more of the shapes. http://www.filedropper.com/treadfinished
  21. Now it makes more sense. I did not know you needed it for a game. Wasn't in your original posting. Do you know how to texture bake? If not, you really need to look at the video i embedded. You can use just the bump channel for your tread pattern. You can do it with a 256x white square and make a tread pattern with a black brush and make it similar to the pattern in your picture. You can actually almost trace it if you put it on the bottom and make a new layer to trace from. Then put it in rows so it can tile.
  22. Start with a texture of wood or bark. Draw a line and make some bends in it. Magic wand the line. paste it to a new layer. Move it on top of the wood texture. Leave it selected and then select the wood layer. Copy it then. http://postimg.org/image/em8mfiktn/ http://postimg.org/image/m6s7qnf63/ Look at what i used. aa, bevel, drop shadow http://postimg.org/image/l6vw1ezl5/ You will need to weave many vines at different widths and maybe find some leaves to add at random. Good luck.
  23. Then what you do is copy a single tread shape. You will need to paste it in rows yourself. It will take some time, but you should get what you need. I would actually myself just make a pattern in whatever program you use and boolean the shapes to a segment of a tire mesh of an 10 degree wedge. repeat that 36 times for your 360. That way you can color adjust it as you like. I found this low detail way. It does it with only bump. You can easily do a patern in black and white to achieve the same. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C71THhs17f0
  24. Add a new layer for the gradient. Go to that layers' properties and set it to different settings like add, multiply, color burn, screen and see what you like best. If you just want to change the colors you have, use the hue settings under adjustments.
