1. Second time this week with egg on my face. Will need to branch out and start an easter egg store. First i should refresh what plug-ins are available that i don not have yet.
2. Hello, and welcome to the forum. This came up before. PDN changes the text by rasterizing it. No way to edit it. A possible solution would be to place the box on one layer and put the text above it on another layer. Now, all you need to do is uncheck the text layer to make it invisible and add a new layer with new text. Good luck.
3. Sorry, never realised. It must be because i keep things in separate bmp, png, tiff, pdn folders and save a master pdn with working versions 001 002. That is nice that it asks before saving. Old habits of flatten only as i finish the piece.
4. You should save it as a pdn first, because it still has 2 layers. You must flatten it so you can save it as a jpg or png.
5. I see that it is a bmp at 24 bits on the details tab. I see some distortions around the smile, but that should not affect any color shifting. Have you tried saving it as a png and then printing? You may have better results if you can change it to 16 bit or 8 bit. Other than that, one of the developers will hopefully provide you with some technical reason that i can't do since they made the program. Try this one ">http://
6. Hard to tell. Please, provide a bit more information for the forum. Type of printer, an example of the image always helps and your os. You may just need to strengthen the image with saturation or contrast, but it's just guess work from my end. You may have to edit settings on your machine.
7. One is provided free. I use ps it is not exactly cheap and it's an older version. You just have to get good with the tools you have. It is not always grab a hammer and pound away. Sometimes you grab another tool and twist. Learn how to use the tools. It's not about how expensive the tools are.
8. I think you can do a lot with the gravity plugin because you can select the shape to curve it to. Just another option.
9. You can also use the smudge tool with or without the boltbait advice.
10. I made an elipse and filled it with a gradinet of white and dark grey on a new layer. I set it to overlap the object and used eraser to remove overlapped part. I reduced the layer opacity to 50 percent. Hit gaussian blur a couple of times I then used soft saturation on the bottom layer to make it look enhanced. Merge and done. Welsh did a good job above me. That is the most common way. I tried to replace the effect from the original though. Both ways solves your problem.
11. I forgot that there is also a text formation plugin that makes curved text lines on a path. It is pretty handy.
12. I did that one with PS. You can do something similar with PDN. Make a square with your stone texture. Select the entire square in bevel it. Make a new layer. Select a color from the stone texture with the dropper and type text on it and change the font. Select each letter with the wand holding control key until they are ll selected. Bevel and use alternate direction and reduce the strength. You can do some additional tweaking by going to layer properties and selecting multiply, color burn or whatever looks best to you. Or, just leave it be. Good luck.
13. You can try to do it with bevel and use alternate direction so it looks like it is carved into the base image. I can do this with PS styles, but that is not what you want. There is a plugin called object align for the text. Sorry, do not remember which pack it is part of. Somebody will soon tell you;Good crew here.
14. I would select the brush and set it larger. Maybe 40 to 60 pixels. Use color select to match the white background. Set that as your brush color. Carefully color over those blue and shadow parts at the bottom. I could do this very quickly, but it is better to learn than to have things given to you. Forget the speech. This is a freebie ">
15. Please, explain in better terms. Did you mean sRGB rather than RGB? sRGB is a lower quality that looks better on desktop screens. The best quality as far as pdn goes, would be png. You can save it in the 100 percent quality as a jpg and get good results to.
16. The best thing is to have good folders in use. Have a jpg, png, pdn, and bmp folders. When you work on something flatten it and save it to the appropriate folder. The original pdn in layers will not get changed this way. If it asks to save changes in the pdn before closing, do as eer says and backup to a point that you do want to save any changes in the master pdn. Or just close it without saving over the original pdn.
17. You can always put the pattern on top and set its layer property to multiply. While you are there try and few others. You may decide to use glow, negation or one of the others.
18. Surprsed me when you didn't get what you needed. I save many renderings in tiff and get from 32 to 128 bit in the details tab depending on my settings. Most hdz and hdr are 24 bit and above. If the psd is still layered nothing should appear. You get nothing until you flatten it. The advice given is all i can ad without knowing more. I think they gave you what you needed. Good luck.
19. Right click the image. Look at details tab on the properties of it. The details will show size and 8, 16, or 32 bits.
20. Why not just make a larger square and set it to transparent, add a layer, select the color blue that you want and type an F. You can then dress it up with some drop shadow or some beveling. If you want the exact font just search which font that they use. Then, it is just a matter of resizing it to what you want.
21. This is a very good reason. I always try to tell users to save an original in a pdn in a separate folder. When you flatten the image, you should save it in another location. My only thing would be a default to a 'save as' instead as save. Work flow requires saving in different formats. It will help in the long run.

Rainbow Torus

The mulicolored torus is nicely done by klaxxon. YM, you should do a tut for yours as well. Nice job.
23. Assistance. Welcome to the forum. Depends what you mean by stand out? A 3d effect, or brighter and impressive hues and colors? Please be more specific.
24. You are very welcome. I keep my eyes out for sharing things that others have a need for. Many have requested being able to change hundreds of images from bmp to png or or others. This program also does a few other things that have been requested. It's a nice tool addition for pdn members.
25. This has been requested a few times. I am not sure if it was done with pdn. Check this out. http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/Multiple-Image-Resizer-NET/1045152951/1
