  1. There is a 'move selected pixels' tool that lets you move selected pixels with the arrow keys and tells you the precise location of the 'selection top left' in coordinates at bottom left of the application window. Is there something equivalent for the text entry bar, so you could move it with the arrow keys pixel by pixel and see where it is? It seems you're forced to move it by hand, while watching 'anchor point' on bottom left of application. When you're dealing with a high res image, say 4000X4000 or more, precise placement by hand is awkward.
  2. Is there anything special about the predefined font sizes in the dropdown to chose your font size in paint.net, or any graphics program for that matter. I'm assuming they are all vector fonts as they let you type in whatever size you want, but just want to make sure there isn't any advantage in using a predefined size over typing in a size not on the list.
  3. i'm glad i finally discovered this. although i understand your reasons for not just including it with windows in the first place, you could at least include a web link on the desktop of new machines. there certainly are plenty of other web links and trial software on new windows machines for software a lot less usefull. my only critism is a lack of tutorials by the developers themselves, there appears to be just a link to a webpage of random user tutorials. but this is often the case with free software. i'm hoping an "illustrator for dummies" book would be compatable for paint.net, particularly in areas of importing and combining several apha enabled graphic images for multilayered graphics and sprite sheets.
