Sorry, guys. All those things do is make the blue-shaded selection that was lasso'd, rotated & moved, disappear; leaving the image exactly as it was. Any other ideas? Thanks

I'veselected, moved, rotated. Now what? I have this blue-tinted area on my image.How do I get it to plant itself there, so I can move on? DON'T LAUGH! Can't betoo intuitive, been using pc's since they were invented. Found no help in thedocs. Thanks.
