  1. Here it is: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?showtopic=10631
  2. So, I have a nice apng file I want to upload. What websites host apng? It's kind of confusing.
  3. Don't worry, Hougesen, I will get it done soon enough: I have a LOT of projects to wade through. Since this is a large update, I am going to post the newest pictures here. Get ready for a flood of pictures.
  4. It looked like it was just sitting there to me.
  5. I challenge whoever challenges me with this!: ('You can't fire me; I quit!' logic )
  6. Both of you, very nice. Doughty, the one problem my (inexperienced D:) eye could see was the rocket. It could use some shading to make it look round...er... (Not sure if that was what you were going for.) Ventor, I love the overall theme and what you did with the text, but I have to agree with minners- the corners do look warped slightly. Not in a good way. Heh. (I wish I had two votes... hard to decide as a lover of spacescapes.) Doughty - 0 (sorry. :c) Ventor1 - 2
  7. I vote for nitenurse79. The text is an important part of the image, and it seems like NMD's signature doesn't have much of that. However, the text in NN's could use some blurring or less contrast. Both of them are cool, though! NMD- 1 NN- 3 NN wins. I enter with this:
  8. Thanks! Which part of the avatar do you want? The floor, the cube, or the text? Thanks.
  9. Minners, I did read the rules. I entered my sig with the words 'For when there is a slot open' because almost everyone I know on the internet lives in a different time zone, so they like to do stuff while I am asleep. Besides, my vote ended the competition (although I forgot to update the score) and the next person apparently decided to put me forward. I do, however, not wish to conflict with you.
  10. Well, alright. I'll play around a bit and then get back to you when I have results.
  11. Would this effect be what you are looking for?:
  12. Something I forgot to mention... My gallery will work by editing the original post. I will not post subsequent images individually, so check back at the original post and the 'update log' for the newest pictures and their location.
  13. Thanks! Glad you like the avatar/sig/logos. I guess you could say emblems are my specialty.
  14. Alright. I shall take note of this for the future. Thank you.
  15. Alright. I vote for NN. For when a slot is available, my entry is as follows:
  16. (Sorry for the double post, but...) That's really nice. Don't go bashing yourself. We all have to start at the beginning and work our way up. In fact, I've been doing paint.NET for over a year, and there is still a lot I have to learn. Eventually, you will develop instincts- meaning, you'll know exactly what you are doing.
  17. Hi'de, This tutorial is great! Easy to follow, fantastic results. I especially loved the sun effect. I was wondering how to do that. Best sun rendering I've ever seen. Yeah, pretty good. Keep turning out more tutorials like this!
  18. Hi Avi. I understand your concerns about pdn's method, but he is right. Invert the selection, outline selection, and then erase what you don't want, or if you're lazy, select the outline with a magic wand and then ctrl+x.
  19. I was creating a picture. It was going pretty nice, and I had done a lot, but towards the finish of it I realized that I had missed a detail quite a ways back- and now that area was part of a merged layer! Then an idea struck me- why not have a separate layers plug-in? A theory I came up with to manage it is to have to scroll through the entire history. Whenever one of three layer actions (merge layer, flatten, delete layer) happens, it would look at the previous action, copy everything in the image on that layer, and then paste it on a new layer. You would have the ability to check mark what layer types (merge layer, flatten, delete layer) so that you wouldn't be completely overloaded. A slider would also affect how much history is checked. The results keep the original image (when you used the plug-in) and puts all the separate layers on top of it. If this is in the wrong section/this isn't allowed, then by all means, mods, delete it.
  20. Okay. I do see what you mean. After I followed Mr.Bobert's tutorial, my way of designing completely changed. Now I use his texturing method in almost everything I do.
  21. Thanks, welsh! As an experienced paint.NET user, do you have any tips for me?
  22. Alright. I'll try doing that. In the mornings, I need to re-size the Fern Games thingy. It actually doesn't take up 1000x1000 space, which means it is sapping memory from my computer. D:
