  1. Thank you, barbieq! The second I saw that picture of the 4x4 General Lee, I thought, "Lunar Rover!" It amazes me how well it all fell into place. It is by far one of my favorite pieces.
  2. Updated! I really hate to bump my own gallery, but this is the least obnoxious way I know to let people know I've added to it.
  3. I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that a "row" is an altercation? EDIT: Nevermind. I looked it up.
  4. OUCH! So sorry to hear that, man! Here's hoping you get your things back.
  5. Thanks, DP. Iron Man was pretty painstaking, believe it or not, and I'm really glad it turned out as well as it did. I tend to agree about the stars on the nebula, but I didn't realize it until after it was done and it was too late by that point, because I forgot to save it as a PDN file. Go figure. I may do another one in the near future. Thanks for stopping by. Always a pleasure to hear from you.
  6. Thank you so much, Helen! I'm pretty happy with the way my sig turned out. Those are my boys, after all!
  7. WHOA! I cannot believe it's taken me this long to get around to visiting your gallery! Man, I've been missing out! Your work is....STUNNING (for lack of a better word)! It's so eclectic, too, that I really can't decide which are my favorites. If I had to pick, I'd say the TV sigs are my favorite. The work is awesome and I'm a huge fan of Dexter and BSG (haven't had the pleasure of watching Breaking Bad yet). You have a wonderful commercial style and a flare for the dramatic. Overall, I'm just blown away by your style and technique, and I can't wait to see more!
  8. Wow, AGJM! You have done some seriously remarkable work! I truly admire your imagination (something I seem to be lacking). The orange glow art is among my favorite. Just a very cool effect you've achieved with those. Look, I know I'm REALLY late in responding to the question of how to do the crescent on the helio sig, and chances are, you've already figured it out. However, on the off chance that you haven't, I hope I'm not overstepping my bounds by offering the easiest method I've found for creating it. First, using the line tool, draw from top to bottom and give it a nice curve. http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc182/1stBass/stepone.png Next, gaussian blur it at about 10-13 http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc182/1stBass/steptwo.png Finally, draw a transparent linear reflected gradient. Easy as pie. http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc182/1stBass/stepthree.png Not sure if you actually needed that information, but I thought I'd offer it anyway. I look forward to seeing more from you.
  9. Sorry about that. My perception was just off, I guess. I may have to check out that tut and see how I fare with it.
  10. I'm digging the new works, Jim! Very creative indeed! I just need a little of your imagination!
  11. Nice effect on the sig, nitenurse. It looks as though it was hewn from a piece of rough steel. Good job on the spacescape, too. You might possibly want to lay off a little on the Gaussian Blur for the atmosphere. And I'm not sure what's going on with the starscape bleeding through the dark side of the earth? The moon looks great, though. And how exactly did you do that funky looking wheel? All in all, I'd say you're making pretty dramatic strides here. Keep 'em coming!
  12. Wow. Beneath Dark Waters is fantastic! The brightly colored fish really pop against the darker background. And your palette in Cocktail Hour just makes me happy.
  13. Wow. Thank you, Yellowman! Coming from you, that's quite a compliment!
  14. Why, thank you, nitenurse! I had a good teacher! This was my second attempt. http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc182/1stBass/SwordofMacMercada-Copy-1.png
  15. Most awesome, Aislin! I am totally in love with this latest pic. Absolutely phenomenal work!
  16. I'm digging your new works. Kally Star is magnificent. You truly have a wonderful eye for composition. Can't wait to see more!
  17. Quite a collection of characters you've got there! Nice work all around. I like your use of color. Definitely NOT boring!
  18. Hello - thanks for the congrats!

Rush fan - I must listen to my 2112 LP again.

I keep an eye on your gallery because I know you can draw - always an advantage - keep it up.

  19. Nice! Here's my attempt. http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc182/1stBass/Geddy.png
  20. All I can say is it's about freakin' time! Nice to see some work from you, nitenurse! Since I'm pretty new to the program and am still learning the ropes, I'll refrain from offering any critiques. Suffice to say, you've got a great sense of artistic composition and as your technical prowess increases, I expect to see great works from you in the future! I have to say, the panels pic is my favorite. Also, you should consider using the unused sig. Nothing against your current sig, but that one has a wonderful, almost neon sign quality to it. Keep the work comin', nitenurse! I look forward to seeing much more from you!
  21. That's pretty freakin' awesome, Jim! I honestly don't know if I would have the patience for such an arduous project. Kudos to you, sir! An awesome piece of work indeed!
  22. I think you've made a wonderful start on your color portrait. I especially love the eyes. You've got a great style, Aislin. Looking forward to seeing the finished product.

The Fire wallpaper is freakin' awesome! I, for one, would love to see a tut on how you accomplished it, if you wouldn't mind. I agree with Himself, that's possibly the best looking fire on here. The rest of your work is very strong, too. Keep the artwork coming!
