Not just you, but a lot of peoples and same me! I tried a few times, but was not lucky, the phishing programs took over! My protection program informed, that official 'optimum' program is dangerous and deleted it! How I get Paint.net then?

That's why they call it image EDITOR instead of image BROWSER.

Paint.net doesn't work as an image viewer.
If you want to see your pictures, I suggest going to the folder from the "Start" menu and clicking one of the images, that will open up a program already on the computer that allows you to view your pictures without opening each one.

Use freeform select to select their face, then use adjustments hue/saturation to change it.
That always has worked for me in *MOST* situations.

Make the PAINT.NET DOWNLOAD button stand out; eliminate the possibility of confusion.
I agree with this, make the button for the PDN download huge.

I usually make a new layer, zoom in on the eyes, put a black dot over them, and then set the transparency level of the layer to where it looks best.

Is the noise white? If so...
1.Select the magic wand tool
2.Set selection mode to global
3.Select the white background
4.Edit menu > Erase selection

This is a problem with ABRmate, not paint.net.

I think you are looking for ScriptLab (by pyrochild), not CodeLab...
Just open up scriptlab and start adding filters to the list. Once you have everything you want, click ok and ctrl+f to your heart's content!
Wait, so you open scriptlab then start writing effect names? Or?

Not without cutting the corners of the book off **as far as I know**.

Here's what I did..
1. Put picture that needs to rotate on it's own layer.
2. Rotate.
3. Run AA's_Assistant , Soften edges checked, Sharpness at 3.00, Gamma at 2.00, Offset at 1.00
4. Repeat using AA's_Assistant at those levels until edges are smooth.
This worked for me.
